2. Our Services

Services include Initial Clinical Exercise Assessments, Standalone Personalised Exercise Programmes, Online Exercise Coaching, Enhanced Online Exercise Coaching, Follow-up Consultations and In-Person Supervised Exercise Sessions.

Services may be delivered online or in person, subject to individual suitability and availability. The scope, frequency and arrangements of support will be agreed before commencement.

3. Initial Clinical Exercise Assessment

All new clients must complete an Initial Clinical Exercise Assessment before receiving a personalised programme, coaching or supervised exercise sessions. The assessment reviews relevant medical history, health, exercise experience and goals and, where appropriate, physiological or functional measures.

Clients receive a written summary of findings and recommendations. Assessment does not guarantee that a subsequent service is suitable or will be offered. Where further medical advice, information or clearance is needed, services may be postponed. Additional testing may be separately quoted.

4. Prices and Payment

The following are our standard prices. Any changes or additional charges will be explained and agreed before purchase.

The initial assessment is charged separately from subsequent services. Appointments and programmes are paid for in advance as described in sections 5–7. Invoices and payment arrangements will be confirmed before purchase.

5. Appointments, Changes and Cancellations

Payment for initial assessments and follow-up consultations is normally required in advance to confirm the booking. Payment for in-person supervised exercise sessions is required before the session.

Clients may rearrange an appointment without charge by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, taking account of the circumstances and our actual or reasonably anticipated loss, including our ability to fill the appointment. We may waive a charge in cases of unexpected illness or emergency.

If we cancel an appointment, we will offer an alternative appointment or an appropriate refund. These arrangements do not affect statutory cancellation or refund rights.

6. Standalone Exercise Programmes

The £125 standalone programme is available following the separately charged initial assessment. Payment is required before preparation begins. Its scope and anticipated delivery arrangements will be agreed in advance. Follow-up consultations and subsequent programme changes are not included unless expressly agreed.

7. Online Coaching and Monthly Packages

Online Exercise Coaching (£150 per month) and Enhanced Online Exercise Coaching (£250 per month) are payable monthly in advance, normally through an agreed recurring payment arrangement. The frequency of reviews, programme updates and communications will be agreed individually. Coaching does not provide continuous or emergency monitoring.

There is no fixed minimum subscription term. Clients can cancel by notifying us before the next billing date; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and future recurring payments will cease. If notice is received after a payment has been collected, we will consider any refund due under the contract and applicable consumer law.

We will provide reasonable advance notice of proposed price changes to an ongoing subscription, and clients may decline a change by ending the arrangement before it takes effect.

8. Statutory Consumer Cancellation Rights

Where a contract is concluded remotely (for example, by email, phone or online) or off premises, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may provide a 14-day cancellation period for services, subject to applicable exceptions. We will give the required pre-contract information and cancellation instructions.

If a client expressly requests that services begin during a statutory cancellation period, we may charge a proportionate amount for services supplied up to cancellation, where permitted by law and after providing the required information. If a service has been fully performed, the right to cancel may be lost only where the legal conditions have been met.

To exercise a statutory right to cancel, email info@beggclinicalexercise.co.uk with a clear statement of the decision. Any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable law. This section takes priority over our ordinary appointment cancellation policy wherever statutory rights apply.

9. Client Health and Safety Responsibilities

Clients should provide accurate, relevant information about health, medical history, medication, symptoms and exercise experience, and promptly tell us about changes affecting exercise suitability.

Clients should follow agreed guidance, use appropriate equipment and surroundings when exercising independently, and stop exercising if concerning symptoms arise. Seek appropriate medical assistance where needed. We may modify, postpone or stop a service if we reasonably consider this necessary for safety.

10. Scope of Practice and Medical Care

Our services provide specialist exercise assessment, prescription and support, not emergency medical services or continuous clinical monitoring. They do not replace medical advice or treatment from a GP, cardiologist or other healthcare professional. We may advise a client to obtain medical review before continuing. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

11. Exercise Risks and Outcomes

Exercise involves inherent risks, including fatigue, soreness, falls, injury and, in some circumstances, adverse health events. We take reasonable steps to assess circumstances and provide suitable guidance, but cannot guarantee any particular improvement or outcome. Clients should communicate concerns promptly.

12. Professional Responsibility and Liability

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing affects clients’ statutory rights under consumer law.

13. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We handle personal and health information confidentially in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Client records are intended to be stored using appropriately configured Google Workspace services. Further details appear in our separate Privacy Policy on our website.

14. Exercise Programmes and Materials

Reports, exercise programmes and educational materials are provided for the individual client’s personal use. They should not be sold, redistributed or represented as appropriate for another person without permission. Clients may keep their own copies for personal reference.

15. Ending or Suspending Services

Clients may end their engagement subject to agreed payment arrangements and applicable consumer rights. We may suspend or discontinue services for reasonable safety, suitability, professional-boundary, non-payment or conduct concerns. We will explain the decision where reasonably possible, and deal fairly with any outstanding payment or refund.

16. Complaints

Please email concerns or complaints to info@beggclinicalexercise.co.uk. We will acknowledge them and aim to respond fairly within a reasonable timeframe.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for future purchases. Changes will not retrospectively alter existing agreements without a lawful basis or appropriate agreement.

18. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
